Summary | 01001: heberpop: The score display shows the 2nd player's score in both the 1st *and* 2nd players' score spots. | ||||
Description |
The score display shows the 2nd (computer) player's score in both the 1st *and* 2nd players' score spots. The score is kept track of correctly, but there's no way for the player to see what their actual score is until the end of the game. This is either not an actual bug, or a bad dump of one of the program ROMs. I've found the bytes in memory responsible for the scores - player 1 is at 0x305462, player 2 is at 0x305466 (scores are divided by 10). So the problem is that the score isn't being transferred from there to graphics memory (I'd need a decent 68000 disassembly of the program to figure out what's wrong here). Anyone know if the original board actually had this problem? |
