YM2203 volume against OKI6295 is too low and almost inaudible. PCB recordings are necessary to determine the correct sound proportion. AWJ says: It seems strange that the YM2203 has to be amplified by a factor of 10~20 relative to the OKI6295s, but that seems to be how the hardware really works. The games in nmk16.c that have similar sound hardware also all need similarly lopsided mixing. |
