| Summary | 01159: term2: [possible] Flipped screen in test mode is broken. | ||||
| Description |
Flipped screen in test mode is broken. Text overlaps, might be related to term20103u4gre. Follow-up from RansAckeR (0.122u5): This was presumed fixed the first time in 0.114u2 by Aaron. He could not reproduce it back then. Steps to reproduce it (on my system): -delete nvram (optional) -fire it up -press F2 -go straight to dip switch test -press tab and go to dip switches -change the normal view dipswitch to 'on' At that point the mirroring is incorrect. After a reboot it looks fine until you change it again to 'off'. Perhaps it expects you to switch it while the cab is not running? Follow-up by Aaron: There are very, very few (if any) games that really work if you toggle the flip-screen switch while the game is running. They are not designed to be toggled like that. At this point, I would need proof that the real PCB worked when changed on the fly like this to really consider it worth pursuing any further. |
