according to guys at mameitalia, a lot of games using ym2203 and ay-3-8910a for sound have problems. sadly, I have to wait the SDL release to test personally :( |

I've changed this from NeoGeo specific to YM2203, and marked it as critical. I can't test myself, but multiple sources are saying it's an issue, so it probably is. |

Neo-Geo is a YM2610, not YM2203 (at least - according to my information). Adjusted report. Before making any more bug reports for missing/incomplete sound, make sure the sound processor is not a YM2610 or YM2610B. If it is, it's covered by this report. If there are indeed YM2203/AY-3-8910a problems, that should be posted in another all-inclusive report for that chip. |

Just because it broke sound in the neogeo games doesn't make it critical. Sheesh. |
