| Summary | 01743: anteater: Music is really loud and clips | ||||
| Description |
The music in anteater is really loud relative to other MAME games and sounds like it's causing clipping. This is a recent regression, some data points: 0.124 official: fine 0.124u3, unoptimized build from various.ru: loud but no clipping 0.124u4, self-built: loud & clipping So my guess would be the Galaxian rewrite for the initial volume change and the AY changes in u4 for the clipping. |

Lowering the Discrete Volume to 50% or a bit less will greatly improve the situation. |
