Summary 01758: jcross: [possible] You can see the character set used to enter the initials in the high score screen.
Description Same behavior as in 00507 and 00367 and 01660, during the demonstration sequence - the high scores are displayed along with the character set that you use to enter the initials.

Personally, I don't think these are bugs. Seems more likely to be lazy and or sloppy programming instead. Anyway - it's documented.

The Hi-score screen size has been fixed in MAME 0.127u1.
It shows now the full character set as many other games too (see new screenshot).
The bug can be closed...

The fact that these show character sets are precisely why they are set up as a bug, not the missing "1up high score 2up" line. I've set this and all related to possible, pending some PCB verification. Hopefully we'll get confirmation that these are like this on the actual PCB's and be able to BTANB these...

I've found this video of Gladiator 1984.
This is definitely a common behaviour in SNK pcb's of those years.
I'm closing all the related bugs.
