Summary 01991: gauntleg: Game randomly freezes
Description As the summary says, game randomly freezes when playing the game. At least on the mountain course, the bug appears most times either in first or second stage, I've just been able to get past them once, and the game didn't hang on the following ones, although I had to leave and couldn't see if the problem would end popping up.

Also, when you try to make a soft reset the game shows a message saying something along the lines of "accessing non-existan memory".

This bug also were present on MAME 0.125u9, but since it was a build I got from somewhere else I thought it could be some error with that particular compiled binary. I don't have either Gauntlet Legends 1.2 nor any Gauntlet Dark Legacy set.

D:\mame>

OK, I disabled -cheat and got it run.

I confirmed freeze on the mountain stage. The game freezes but MAME still runs.
Added a screenshot.

This problem does not occur when running MAME compiled with FORCE_DRC_C_BACKEND=1.
