This sounds like a configuration error. Delete your outrun.CFG file (located in CFG folder) and try again. If that doesn't fix it - your device is flawed and not sending the proper information to MAME. I am able to play this game with no problems with the default keyboard and the mouse controls (provided I use the -mouse trigger). I even entered the Service mode and checked the Input Test - Center shows as 80h with left and right showing (20h and E0h) values. Please note the keyboard auto-centers and the mouse or other analog does not. Is anyone else experiencing this bug? |

Ok, that's the confirmation I needed. Closing report. Iceman2008 (Iceman2002cny, Iceman2004cny, Iceman2007cny): You've have in the past here on MANTIS and even on the original MAMEWORLD forum often posted reports which were not bugs. I saw you recreated an account recently so I decided to see if you had improved your tester quality by letting you submit a bug. Sadly, this hasn't happened. I'm permanently setting your account to VIEWER status. Dealing with invalid bugs is a waste of moderation time not to mention it becomes annoying if it happens many times. If you attempt again to make a new account while you are still a Viewer and try to post a new bug to MANTIS - you will quite possibly be banned from even viewing this site. |
