Summary 02058: create config warning
Description when you create a new mame.ini file by typing mame-cc
you get a warning

I think will only happen if you have an older .INI already in folder. I tried a 'MAME -CC" in a folder with just MAME in it and got no error. If I remember, the -CC attempts to carry over the folder information from any old. INI's you might have.. thus the error showing and since -CHEAT is largely taken out/disabled - that message is not surprising.

first of all it's not triggered by the fact you're creating a ini file with -cc, but by the fact you're running mame. it would appear whatever you do, as long as you run mame

and, as pointed out by Tafoid, it's due to the presence of an old mame.ini when still cheat_file was an option recognized by MAME. Now it's no more, and it is by desing. so this is not a bug.
