Verified the sample emulation against schematics and found nothing to explain the differences. Can you dump your board or at least the sample roms at pos. 4P & 4R ? BTW: test mode will play all available sounds, if there are more differences, it is likely that you have a romset not currently in MAME. |

I'd have to agree with couriersud's assessment - all the sets currently in MAME share the same sample roms (which seem to be english).ROM_REGION( 0x2000, "samples", 0 ) /* samples */ Your speech sounds as if they were actually Japanese spoken word and could use a dump. . |

yes, I dumped the program roms and they were same as japan set 1 but one of the sample rom is different! I'll send a diff |
