No.02876 Tafoid Administrator Oct 17, 2008, 16:57	As I understand what the source is doing.. while this IS a bios, it is not being used by any games in MAME as of yet. Therefore, it's left in as a playable game mostly for debugging purposes. As soon as sets which use this hardware configuration which shares it's base with the ZN2 and are able to work or are added to MAME, this "taitogn" will assume a GAME_IS_BIOS_ROOT flag, denoting it as an active bios and keeping in line with others. I'll leave open and request Developer reaction to this.
No.02879 Haze Senior Tester Oct 18, 2008, 12:40	Probably a leftover from when BIOS sets couldn't be run as standalone (as you note, there are no games using this yet, so having it as a normal set was the only way to see the bios) I don't know if there would be any other issues if it was marked as a BIOS at this time tho.
No.03060 sebbu Tester Nov 18, 2008, 22:35	i just used the .dat for some audit, and i saw that galgbios, hod2bios and mac2bios are bioses which are not being used by any games in MAME... should it be the same for taitogn ( either case, all four as bios or all four as normal rom ) ?
