To the wish list: Add "Quit MAME"(*) as an explicit option last in the main OSD menu, making it possible to quit using the menu system. (*) Or "Exit emulator", or... you decide the labeling. |

In fact, MAME has the option in the built-in UI, it is "Exit". |

Oh, that is true, if you start mame without a game argument it will show a game selection menu, and this one does have "Exit". I had the "Config menu" in mind, the one you reach in-game by pressing Tab (normally). The Config menu lacks the "Exit" option. (But I do have the option of pressing Esc in-game (which is easy to do by mistake).) |

There is an "EXIT" in the selection screen. The config (TAB)menu, you simply hit ESC or use the "-confirm_quit" trigger to allow quitting with a ESC then ENTER like many other UI builds have. |
