Summary | 03055: Verbose mode should state where MAME looks for files | ||||
Description |
To the wish list: The verbose mode should state where MAME looked for files, particularly files that are not found. For example, this is useful when a ROM image is not found but I know it exists and I thought I configured the path correctly. |

Should probably be considered. It is helpful for locating bugs in your mame.ini. |

May as well indicate where it looks for ini files as well. I never knew it looks for vector.ini, <name-of-driver>.ini, <name-of-parent>.ini as well as the game name, until i was trying track down a bug one day, and found this stuff in the source. |
