Summary 03063: psyvaria, psyvarrv, usagi, nightrai, xiistag: Some G-Net cards were dumped without restoring them to defaults first
Description The G-Net games store save data directly to the card, and some were dumped without prior resetting them to factory defaults and clearing the hiscore table in Test mode.

psyvaria hiscore not clear

nightrai not factory defaults

they should probably be cleared, yes. IIRC Guru's screenshot showed a 'save' folder on them. It might be worth investigating how this works, and if the games have proper defaults. If not, unused cards will be needed.

In test mode there are specific settings for Resetting to factory defaults and clearing the hi score table.

Yeah, sorry about that, I would've posted the info but this stupid site wont allow unicode chars,(they get changed to ?, and you got the info before I could post pics anyway.)

Also, usagi is not fixed. It requires a Mahjong control panel to operate test mode, M=Up L=Down Chi=Left Reach=Right Ron=select if you need the info. but I'm sure you don't have a Mahjong panel anyway.
So, should this be reopened just for usagi or left as is?

I thought you could just merge diffs in MAME anyway using CHDMAN.

ie, you clear it, merge the content of the diff file with the original chd, and you have a new 'clean' chd.

Of course, it's debatable if it's a real 'factory reset' card, as the factory might not have a save folder on it at all, or it might not occupy the same blocks on the card etc. but it would be 'clean'.

oh, well ok then. will the reset usagi show up in u3 then? because it wasn't in u2.
