Summary 03286: mj4simai: Music becomes very fast after opponent's Reach.
Description After the gal's riichi, the BGM sounds very sped-up and strange.
Steps To Reproduce Wait for her to declare riichi, then you will hear it.

pcb gameplay here:
Riichi in 6:05... with no kanjis announcing it, just the voice: the music goes crazy too as in MAME
Riichi in 8:40... with kanjis announcing as well as the voice: nothing strange happens here
Riichi in 10:37... it is announced twice, during a sequence and after the sequence, no kanjis too. After the second announcement the game's music speeds up as in MAME

MAME emulation:
3:33 Riichi announcement with kanjis, no music speed up
18:11 Riichi announcement without kanjis, only voice after an animation sequence: music speeds up

This is either a game feature of a game bug. Whatever, it is present in the original board of the game and it reproduces in the same events as in MAME
