Summary | 03315: Ability to append 'path' settings. | ||||
Description |
You have a MAME.INI entry for your ROMPATH. When you use another rompath in command-line, all current rompath locations in your .INI files are disregarded completely. It would be nice as a user-defined option to allow the appending of the rompath (or any path) from current .INI, so those with multiple storage places for their sets will not have to enter them each time they wish to use the command-line. As LordN suggested to me, maybe a simple symbol (@ was suggested) that could represent the pre-existing path in the .INI so that any paths entered during the command can be appended to the end of the current settings. mame -rompath @d:\chd cliffhgr - would use the current .INI setting for rompath as well as add "d:\chd" as another path. |
