Summary 03394: p47, p47j: Frame skipping when running at 100% core emulation
Description OK this is going to be hard to explain. I tired P-47 on defaults on many different computers (using both MAME and MAMEUI but since I use MAMEUI a lot it's going to be the main platform). The game doesn't run smoothly (has frame skipping) when the core emulation is running at 100% nonstop. I own the PCB of P-47 and there's no frame skipping on the PCB whatsoever (there's hardware slowdown but it's nowhere near frame skipping). The computers that I'm using can run ST-V games at 70% so it can't be the computer whatsoever.

A Japanese superplay video which was recorded from the PCB shows the game running smoothly with no frame skipping. It's found here:

http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm7088220

You need to sign up to see the video I believe, it's in Japanese so use a translator.

I would like to make a short video about it but I don't know how to record footage.
Steps To Reproduce Play the game and there's frame skipping. Look at the speed of the sprites (Planes, bullets) and see them skipping every few seconds.
Additional Information The other mega system games work just fine with no frame skipping (Saint Dragon has more sprites on the screen than P-47 but it has no frame skipping on the emulation).

Please take out the crap from the text and describe the points briefly.

And please do not use MAMEUI for testing as much as you can. It's not the main testing target and won't be so.

The game works quite smoothly here, no objects "skip".
Just reset your mame.ini settings especially for video options and try again.

And I believe the video you shown the link would be from MAME.

I have to agree. I didn't see any evidence it was a PCB recording.. in fact the speed in which the credit was started after entering as well as the apparent autofire that was used for bombing suggest it was not an arcade setup to me.
I too tried 0.133, with and without any video syncing commands and also could not duplicate your issue with this game.
