Summary 03743: ckong: Sound problem when collecting/jumping
Description When you jump over a barrel, collect and item or jump/eliminate a rivet during the game, there should be a double repeating 'gong' noise, which the current emulation doesn't do. It sounds like a little white noise at the end of tone when it should be these samples. You can see examples in the video linked below:
Steps To Reproduce
Additional Information This could be a problem with the sound board roms, or an issue with sample access. Posted by crazykongfan at KLOV Forums:

Here's a little more detailed info, since I've been able to play several different PCB's and found a couple videos/audio files online. The lower pitched chest beat seems to occur when the game is trying to play both a sample (like the running sound) and music (like the hammer smash, point award, or time-almost-out tune) at the same time. It does this in addition to the white noise static sound (that is currently present in MAME) Sometimes it's one beat sound, sometimes it's two. In addition to the above video, here's a site with a very good audio recording of a CK Part 2 running back in 1983:

Go to tracks 15 and 16 on that page.
It does this on all the 100% working CK boards I have (1 Orca and 3 Falcon style. One of my Falcon boards has issues, one issue is not playing the samples). Also, I'm not including the Galaxian/Scramble sets, since I have neither, but they're completely different hardware.
