Summary | 04275: bomblord: [possible] Priority problem in attract mode | ||||
Description |
In attract mode, the second tilemap, containing the text "GAME OVER" and the number of credits for each player, is hidden behind the first tilemap containing the playfield. However, the "GAME OVER" text still has priority over the sprites, effectively causing the sprites to disappear behind invisible letters as they move around during the demo (e.g. the blue bomberman in the screenshot). This bug doesn't exist in the parent set bbmanw. It may be an original bug in the bootleg software/hardware (this bootleg has somewhat different video hardware from the original Irem board) that the bootleggers overlooked. |
