Summary 04383: starwars and clones: Dipswtich changes have no effect.
Description When changing starting shields and bonus shields, I can see it change in the service menu, but its having no effect on the game, which is odd.

Testing seem to point the problem first happens in 0.138u2, where there was a hookup of X2212 in the Star Wars driver.

The current behaviour is that the game reads the dipswitches if there's no nvram data present. After that you must change them in service mode.

This is consistent with some other games which do similar, basically the dipswitches only provide the DEFAULT values, or the values to be used if the nvram chip fails.

I don't think there's any bug here, at least not in current versions.
