Summary 05084: fromanc2, fromancr: Freeze after reload
Description I freeze the screen after you save Mahjong, once you have finished the MAME, loading the state.
fromanc4 the save and load is performed safely.
Steps To Reproduce Coin up and start a game, and get to the table. Save the state, restart MAME then reload. Gameplay will stall and never advance.

Sorry, this file is what was done to save state in mame64 0.147u3.
Try to reproduce this file with this command

mame64 fromanc2-state 1

At first glance, it appears to have been restored successfully, please wait for a while.
The next step is not performed.
Freeze does not occur in the animation scene.
Only occurs when you save Mahjong screen.

When I load this save state and coin up, everything seems fine until 2 dice are rolled on the green table. After which keys don't advance the gameplay while MAME is still responsive and functioning.

The contents of banked RAM weren't being saved and restored. That's what you get when you use ROM_REGION to specify RAM...
