Description |
Dissolve effect of the intro title screen is not working correctly (sprites priority problem?). The explosions from the intro when the crew fly the nave have vertical lines which don't appear like that in the original. Problems with the shadows in some part of the game. I think you know about this problems (?) but you put the game in the working category which is not. The game must have the flag "THE VIDEO EMULATION IS NOT 100% ACCURATE". Thanks! |

Verifications against the/an original require proof in the form of pictures/videos/schematics and the like. Until you have some of these, it can't be officially verified. That said, there do seem to be some sprite priority issues, so I'm going to Acknowledge this, awaiting valid evidence, such as a video of the intro sequence off real running hardware. I've removed the VO flag until we actually CAN verify this. |

Haynor, that's the video I wanted to show. I've downloaded the video (ripped) and play it in slow mode. That way you can see clearly the lines appear on the original pcb but are few (3-4 times) compared to the emulator (6-7 times or more). Please try this method until someone with better quality will upload the video. Another thing, you can see how the title screen "Bucky O' Hare" (on the intro) is fading on the original pcb and the emulator (on the emulator the title screen remain 1, 2 seconds then disappear like the fading is not working correctly).
