Summary | 05386: colony7: The high score is replaced by the next game's score; no high score can be logged
Description | After completing a game, the player's score is displayed at the top of the screen. When the player starts a new game, that score is lost.
Steps To Reproduce |
1. Insert Coin 2. Press Start Button 3. Press the Fire Button 4. Play the game until you die 5. Insert Coin 6. Hit the Start Button The score is gone |
||||
Additional Information | My apologies for wasting your time if this is how the game really is. I just can't imagine Taito (or any of the big names after 1980) making a game with no high score function.

Is it really a high-score? I think it is a current score. |

I see no evidence of a high score wording on screen or during game playing several games and cycling demonstration multiple times. "High Score" as well know it just doesn't exist for this game and there is no known high score function implied or mentioned (the center number is the current score and stays the way until a new game is started - resetting to 0). Nothing is said about high scores in the game's manual either. Not a bug - invalid. |
