Summary | 05440: all games with tilemaps and a colortable: F4 graphics viewer fails to show tilemaps in games that use a colortable | ||||
Description |
Load any game that has tilemaps and uses a colortable. pacman, polepos, vulgus are examples. Press F4 to bring up the graphics viewer, then press Enter twice to switch to the tilemap viewer. The tilemap viewer window shows the coordinates but is otherwise completely blank. In games that have tilemaps but don't use a colortable (twincobr, cps1/2, etc.) the tilemap viewer works as expected. |

Confirmed using PACMAN. I don't consider it a MAJOR issue as tilemap viewing doesn't effect emulation so I changed to minor. |

That's very strange, maybe it's build specific? The attached image (two PrtSc-screenshots pasted together) shows what I get when viewing the tilemaps of games with and without colortables. Only the tilemap view is affected, the graphics view is okay. |
