The audio playback is higher than shown in PCB recording as well. Clock Speed or another issue?

If overclock soundcpu to 115 % voice pitch is "fixed".
The sound in PCB in game over screen is a few different than in MAME.

Unlike the "VS" version with the OKI chip:
8MHz XTAL on main PCB.
12MHz XTAL on video PCB.

The only way to get the exact sound pitch with an 8MHz XTAL is 8/2 with Z80 M1 wait states on the audiocpu.
