Summary 05630: all vector games: missing lines/pixels with d3d and antialiasing disabled
Description When I disable antialiasing and window max. with vector games in D3D some pixels/lines are missing on screen. In ddraw is ok.
Scaling by D3D is not accurate ?
Steps To Reproduce Just run any vector game with options mentioned aboce, better without artwork and compare final results using ddraw and d3d.
Additional Information Open screens in new window. www inteface makes them blurry.

Can you please list the exact command line arguments that you launch with, to produce the results in both the screenshots.

It looks like you set the vector width too low.

Here are changes to default mame.ini:

antialias 0
window 1
maximize 0

manipulate - video ddraw
                        video d3d

which means that beam is default - 1,0

I decides to test with beam 2,0. Attached results.
Please note that even I set beam 2 ddraw still produces the same picture as with beam 1. Only in d3d this make any difference.

Not sure what to do with this one, but it's definitely not new anymore. Going to set aside for further direction from devs.
