| Summary | 05645: sstrike: Missing crosshair | ||||
| Description |
The crosshair is missing in Super Strike Bowling since MAME 0.111u4. In MAME 0.95u2 Aaron Giles added a crosshair to Super Strike Bowling (itech8.c) making it somewhat playable. In MAME 0.111u4 the mechanism changed for rendering the crosshairs and the draw_crosshair for Super Strike Bowling was cut out in machine\slikshot.c. The same for Sea Wolf II (astrocde.c), the draw_crosshair was cut out in vidhrdw\astrocde.c. But the crosshairs for Sea Wolf II were be readded in MAME 0.115u1. |

The game itself had a fake implementation of the physical ball. I'm not sure if the simulation code for this game is still active or usable. It is also labeled as mechanical - pending some better implementation. |
