| Description | On repeat pressing of "p" when in partial emulation, the system will output commas or spaces onto the screen until you press any key to stop it. I have also had the same problem that the enter key repeats but I can't remember how to reproduce it. | ||||

I don't see this as a bug. Full emulation is required if you want no issues with typing or using the keyboard in any way. Each computer/system interprets input from a device (pc keyboard) differently. When there is the UI-enabled Keyboard (Partial mode) and you press a UI key, you may or may not get the same key/code/signal that is trapped and redirected when using fully emulated keyboards. If you had an issue with a non-UI enabled key, we might have reason to be concerned. Maybe others can chime in. |

In partial keyboard, P is the pause key, so in theory nothing should appear at all. But the keystroke appears anyway due to other well-known bugs. I tried and obtained a line full of p and no other characters. Only one p was produced per keystroke. Holding the key down produced the expected auto-repeat. So I cannot confirm the reported bug. I think Tafoid is correct and this report serves no purpose. |
