Summary MESS-specific 05990: c64, c64p: 6502 core; freakout in "Pac Man Arcade" Demo
Description When loading the "Pac Man Arcade" Demo by Hokuto Force, the screen freaks out then the demo crashes a few seconds later.

The crash hasn't been tested on real hardware, so the confirmation of this is trivial but eligible.
Steps To Reproduce 1. Type LOAD"*",8,1 at the prompt like usual.
2. Press space to skip the intro
3. Watch it freak out

Traced to November 6, 2012 and this is likely the cause - 6502 rewrite.

Either something missing from the core or the driver needs to be adjusted properly to handle things after the rewrite. Prior, it still had some graphic issues, but it didn't go wlid or lock up like it does now.. (added snapshot taken from an svn of early November 6, 2012)

Severity changed back to critical because this involves 6502 core.

This was fixed at some point. It's working in 0.239.

It doesn't freak out anymore, but is it normal that ghosts don't move?

The original reported bug was fixed in 0.201.

The ghosts don't move in Vice, too. Setting as resolved, as it seems to run as expected.
