Summary | 06410: cpc6128: Failed to show correctly new graphic modes! | ||||
Description |
Imperial Mahjong - http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=68307 The game features new graphic modes: EGX (Extended GraphX): displays 16 colors in 320*200 instead of 4. EGX2: displays 4 colors in 640*200 instead of 2. The Mess/Mame CPC128 driver failed to show correctly the new graphics modes! |
||||
Steps To Reproduce |
Insert the disc and type run"config" on first start. Once the game is configured, type run"mahjong". (Note: It needs any CPC fitted with 128k !) |
||||
Additional Information |
The game is tested to work fine on following emulators: CapriceForever Beta v0.29 (2016.09.10) - works fine! JavaCPC Desktop v2.9.5b (2016.07.12) - works fine with small glitches on the screen top when moving the arrow! (at least on my PC) WinAPE 2.0b1 (2015.11.26) - works fine! WinCPC 0.9.27 build 4185 (2010.08.15) - works fine! Unfortunately, other CPC emulators failed! |

Ups, I just noticed that the problem was already mentioned on the MESS Forum few days earlier: http://forums.bannister.org/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=107649#Post107649 As Haze said, presumably needs exact timings! Btw. For the MESS Forum topic, the "S&KOH" demo might be a nice test case too! A lot emus have some problem with it, even WinAPE, but the new CapriceForever Beta v0.29 seems fine! (IMHO, possibly the best CPC emus today) |
