Summary | 06473: mjkojink (and games based on it): Incorrect dip switch reading
Description |
Dip switch reading is scrambled in all games based on Private Teacher, this is the source of manuals which appear to be incorrect. Run Private Teacher in MAME, flip the test mode on, press p1 start, and you'll see the dip switch display at the bottom. Toggling 1-7 actually toggles 1-8 in the game, 1-6 toggles 1-6 and 1-7 in game. For DSW2 the order is totally wrong, for example test mode should be 1-3 instead of 1-1. Screen flip should be 2-4 instead of 1-8. 1-6/7/8 are for difficulty by the way. Suspect problem is in: pteacher_keyboard_r |

Additional Information | I have the manuals and half of the games in the driver - can work on checking/fixing dips when the addressing problem is resolved.
