Also cannot confirm. From what I'm hearing this may be a compiler bug and not an issue with MAME. If at all possible, use a more recent version of GCC (as of this writing 6.3 is the one msys64 provides). |

Tested with 186 with MAME 64 bits, official build (mamedev), in windows 10 pro 64 bits No problems detected Probably has a linux related bug? |

I notice the driver uses memcpy in the descramble routine, I haven't checked in detail, but maybe it's one of those cases where memmove should be used instead, those are often linux-only bugs. |

Any follow up from OP? Haze, can you give other examples of memcpy usage that may be doing similar things and may malfunction on Linux? Without any proof (right now it looks like compiler error), there is no sense in keeping this open like someone is going to do anything about it. |
