mission 9 completed (level1 ~ level 8)
mission completed (level1 ~ level 8)
mission completed (level1 ~ level 8)
mission A completed (level1 ~ level 8)
mission B completed (level1 ~ level 8)
mission C completed (level1 ~ level 8)
......
mission P completed (level1 ~ level 8)
mission Q completed (level1 ~ level 8)
then, the game stops.
Steps To Reproduce It is a long time playing from the beginning. So I upload the save state file (7.sta).
Additional Information I don't know it's mame's bug or the game was originally designed so.

unless it's using the protection device to do the counting then it looks like it's probably a game bug

you can see from what you posted above that it actually starts going weird after '9' before it even reaches 'A' so it's probably just increasing a counter somewhere unchecked.

would be interesting to know if it applies to all sets, but it seems like the type of thing where Seibu just assumed nobody would play the game for that long ;)
