Description | Playing several games like Super Street Fighter II and Turbo OutRun, the sound of the games is lower. Checked with some videos of those games in youtube (not a reliable source after all), and some emulators like KegaFusion. | ||||
Steps To Reproduce | Just play some games with mame and compare the sound with other emus like Fusion for example. | ||||

the sound volume is set lower on purpose because it needs to be able to mix in the SegaCD and 32X audio if you have those devices connected otherwise MAME can't handle the mixing once you add those and you just get nasty clipping instead. |
