| Description |
When I play Sangokushi 3 (Romance of the Three Kingdoms) in MAME, It needs new data disk to save. To make data disk and insert to drive B:, It doesn't read and says the disk not ready message. but I eject B drive, MAME read the B drive and disk not ready message (written in Japanese). Of course, When I re-insert the empty disk and press 'R' key (to retry), the data finally saved. It's same when I save the game data in data disk. You can check the disk ramp to access the correct drive. |

Try creating a data disk as an MFI or an MFM disk image, these image types are definitely writable by MAME. |

The motor wasn't turned on when the enable was set and a disk loaded. Was my fault. |
