Summary 07125: kof96, kof97, kof98: The timer during the meetings, now in 00 starts from 99 as if there were the "cheat" of the infinite active time.
Description Any player is chosen, if the time of the game reaches 00, instead of giving the lost match, the time starts again from 99. The bug occurs in all three games mentioned.

I'm not seeing it in player vs player encounters .. I let the initial 60 second timer work down to 00 .. then it says "TIME OVER" and the round is stopped.
The game I tested was kof98.

Can you provide a valid .inp file for any game to demonstrate it?

this was a bug in some MAMEUI builds from a few versions back.

I've never observed it in a proper build?

Haze is right; I'm used to always using MAMEUI, out of laziness.
I just did the same game with MAME and with characters I didn't find any problems.
So this is a MAMEUI bug I did not know about. Excuse me.
