Summary | 07217: firefox: Sound in attract mode affected by left alt key
Description | Sound in attract mode turns back on for one cycle if the left alt key is pressed (also happens when alt+enter is pressed to change from fullscreen to window or vice-versa). I found this out by accident tracking another bug with this game.
Steps To Reproduce | |||||
Additional Information | Initially this report was about what I thought was an attract mode sound bug, but edited because it wasn't. If the alt key thing is some hidden function not documented then just close this.

Atari Games are typically silent on successive playthroughs of the attract mode if they make sound upon booting. Some examples of games only show attract sound every 3rd (Gauntlet). Indiana Jones (indytemp) plays demo audio on boot then at the sixth one, will start audio again for the cycle. Hitting CTRL during the cycle will "wake up" audio for the next cycle or, in the case of FireFox, allow it to basically trigger it so you can hear it the remainder of that cycle. Given the history, my money is on that button triggering of the audio is an programmed in, expected, and not a bug. |

I'm resolving this as a BTANB. If more proof comes in that this isn't an intended feature, someone can post it here. |
