| Summary | 07271: genesis and clones: Missing borders | ||||
| Description |
The sometimes-colored borders output by real hardware are missing. Real hardware captures, for reference: NTSC PAL |
||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Sonic 2 shows a blue border right at the title screen, so loading it may be the fastest way to check it out. | ||||
| Additional Information |
Attached are a picture of a Sonic 2 bootleg similar to `sonic2bl` showing the borders around the screen on a CRT arcade monitor, and a comparison of MAME's output and BlastEm's, with the visible borders changing colors mid-screen. These can also be seen in other related hardware such as the SEGA Radica systems: Related to issue 06892. https://mametesters.org/view.php?id=6892 |
