Summary | 07392: Config Menu level is not being saved when using save states | ||||
Description |
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I updated MAME to 0.211 after many years (last version I had was 0.150), and I've noticed this behavior that wasn't in the old version. Hopefully I'm not wording this incorrectly, but while playing a game, the config menu doesn't always retain the last spot/level I was in. This is what I do: I hit TAB to open the config menu. I browse to "Player 1 controls" or to cheats (or to anywhere that's at least one level above the main menu). Now, if you hide the menu, and try to load or save a state, and then go back into the menu, it won't remember the last spot/level your were in and instead will be at the main menu again. Is there anyway to change it to like it was before? When messing with cheats, specially games with a lot of cheats, it becomes very tedious having to scroll through the menu and a big list of cheats to go back to the one you were using after loading or saving a state. In the older versions, it would stay exactly where you left it and that was more convenient. Thanks! |

Appears to have been introduced near the start of the save state menu addition. |
