Summary MESS-specific 07679: Possible bug in -listsoftware command line
Description using the -listsoftware in the command line, in the "sms" (Sega Master System cartridges) software list, it didn't export the <sharedfeat> tags.
Is it normal?

Not sure. I've always thought of -listsoftware as pretty much a paste of all XML that is attached to a system and I've never really used it to any degree. Whenever I need specific titles for any testing of a software list, I parse it myself.

The <sharedfeat> tag appears in the xml hash files in MAME, but it is not exported using the -listsoftware command line.

I would suppose this is by design. MAME has to determine what to feed as valid software when you invoke the command which is typically the reason <sharedfeat> exists, to make sure that only titles which are meant to be used on that selected machine are shown. Perhaps someone who knows more can expand on this.
