Description |
When Cabal is started in sequence have an game start screen and after a demo gameplay. In arcade exactly when started in game start screen is played an sound fx possibly about game start test is good. Currently MAME is playing the sound fx test very ahead when in demo gameplay being that the correct is when is displayed game start screen. In arcade first is played sound fx test and after demo gameplay in first seconds no sound having a delay in some sound fx. MAME is emulating wrong if comparing with arcade. I not have information if was changed any detail in cabal driver. |

Having a hard time figuring out what exactly you are trying to say for this report. I do not notice any delay in sound FX coming in. I have tried to judge by watching the sound FX for the grenades and it seems correctly timed in both demonstration and during gameplay. Without any PCB proof that sounds are late/are not working right, I will not be able to look into this much further. |

The Initial sounds starts 0.86 or 1 second next to the 1st start screen, in mame, sounds starts when the demo starts and the 2nd shot is used (or maybe next of various sounds next of initial sound) If this sound do not starts, all the buttons not init This is verified with the bootleg (red corp.) and the joystick version |

I had played very much Cabal in arcades. Exactly how Fortuna is saying when the machine is power on in 1 seconds play the first sound fx and in demo the player character shot, but have an delay in the first shot and after bomb sound fx all sound fx are correctly synced and loop to game title with skull laugh sound fx. I not have information if the arcade was original or bootleg, but remember perfectly the sound fx sequence in arcade. See the link https://mametesters.org/view.php?id=6230 " I don't know if is a real behaviour of the arcade, seems like at the beginning of the game there is a lag with the sound effects.. " version tested was 0.174, but in current version not have sound fx delay in demo. Linux not is simple to test previous versions.
