Summary MESS-specific 07932: [msx2_flop:dslayer4]: Publisher and date of software list item specified incorrectly.
Description This piece of software is a cart2disk hack actually. You'll make sure of it when you will see the startup screen (snapshot is attached below). Pay the special attention to "Conversion de Martos" string.

That screen depends on the MSX2 system you use. It might require more memory to at least load correctly.
It works for me depending on MSX2 system:

> mame canonv30 msx2_flop:dslayer4
shows what you posted and doesn't load

> mame hbf700p msx2_flop:dslayer4
shows what I posted and does load.

As far as the release date, I believe things like this in the past have reverted to the original release dates - especially since this is admittedly a "cart2disk" hack.
Unless it was an official release from the publisher, the date is largely irrelevant.

Yes, the first image should be working on a Japanese MSX system, the character refers to this char "「” and it's 0xA2.
Those Japanese chars are replaced with accented alphabets in the international MSX.

I don't see an issue then? The software operates as expected on the proper machine and the date is accurately represented based on the original release date of the game.
