Summary 07947: ddragon and clones: Broken music and too low sound effects volume
Description The music is broken especially on stage 1 to 2 intermission and stage 2 where you can hear a clear difference FIXED for 0.231
also sound effects seems to low and music to high

Regression is at 0.225 for sound effects. Maybe this commit is the cause:
- 6833: sound/es5506.cpp: Use device_memory_interface for samples; audio/taito_en.cpp: Implemented device_mixer_interface. [cam900]

Anyway some effects in 0.224 still sound low, like the oil barrel when hits the ground at the boss 1 fight. Regarding music at stage 2, I don't fell any difference in current Mame nightly build from yesterday.

Music issue present in 0.230 was fixed along with a lot of other reports this cycle.
The video only outputs one channel of audio for trying to determine mixing/volume levels is difficult. Can you find another PCB or arcade recorded with L+R?
I can detect, however, a very small drop in sample playback volume between certain days - judging from the sound effects played after starting the game (steps and the punch). It has nothing to do with the PR mentioned earlier as samples are played with a MSM5205, not a ES5506.

The video "First play at the arcade . Double Dragon" provided by Alex7 is the closest to the effects in 0.224, especially considering the sound of the barrel hitting the ground in the final fight of stage 1.

I assume the OKI chip volumes were lowered since their max volume was higher than 1.0?
It sucks though that Aaron didn't correct the volume balance in drivers afterwards.
