Summary | 07952: kinst: Timing speed is wrong in ATTRACT MODE.
Description | It seems that the speed of the attract mode is not in accordance with the original, and the music is bugged from a certain point in time.
Steps To Reproduce |
1. Start game. 2. Enter BIOS and exit to start ATTRACT MODE with music. (Because of another bug you have to do this. 00835) |

Additional Information |
**Video MAME**: In the emulated game, you can see how at 0:54, it says KILLER INSTINCT when the guitar is playing and it cuts out and stops being heard in the GLACIUS and JAGO video and already during the The rest of the video is not heard again while the music is playing. [Video MAME] **ORIGINAL board video**: Here you have the video of the intro of an original plate where the music sounds correctly throughout the video. At minute 1:25, when the voice-over says "KILLER INSTINCT" on the original plate, the guitar continues to sound with the video of GLACIUS and JAGO. [ORIGINAL board video] I think the cause is that the video is faster in the emulated version. Here I put a comparative video between original board(left) against emulated version (right). Screen timings and parameters are in no way accurate with guessed measurements (for as long as I can remember). Sadly the only way to fix this is to record H/Vsync signals from an actual pcb (which are crazy expensive and demanding to collectors). I hope anybody here has a working Killer Instinct pcb and proper equipment to measure H/Vsync timings. |

Hello, I have the original hardware, how can I help you?, I also want to tell you that the sound bug is not found in the version of mame 0.107 of July 23, 2006 in that version the sound works from the beginning in Killer instinct 1 but in Killer instinct 2 is under which it would be good to solve it so the emulation would be perfect |
