Summary 08290: daytona: game is not "BROKEN" anymore.
Description I tried the game "Daytona" and it plays quite well, despite it is falsely marked "BROKEN".

It only looks ugly by graphics glitches (missing large polygons protruding outside screen, road is too white) those barely affect gameplay, so it should be marked INACCURATE instead.

Model 2 isn't really trusted. Sega Rally, which is still a complete mess, is running the same CPU cores etc.

This isn't for you to decide.

As far as I know, there are still times the game can crash out and cause exceptions without notice due to texture problems. I've had it exhibit in my testing in the past. Also, given the nature of driver game enthusiasts, they'd almost consider swaths of graphical/color issues to be a game stopper as well.

I'm not of the opinion to take off the NOT_WORKING flag. The game does also have a "imperfectly emulated features: graphics" flag.

Daytona has two major bugs:
1. missing tachometer;
2. unreadable radar;

Both are basically down to Z priorities and focal distance, which is a common bug for most model2 games.
Not a valid bug report regardless, closing.
