Summary MESS-specific 08331: c64 [pitfall2]: Game doesn't start
Description Pitfall2 from the software cart list, doesn't start, where pitfall2a does. Pitfall2 just hangs with a black screen, with no indication what is going on.
Steps To Reproduce start mame. The way I use it: mame c64 -cart pitfall2 -joy1 joy
wait,
wait some more
nothing happens.
quit mame
start mame with: mame c64 -cart pitfall2a -joy1 joy
and the game will start almost immediately

Did a little research on this..
Both cartridges in the softlist (pitfall2 and piftall2a) didn't work until 0.209 - specifically traced to a change that defaulted the offset to 0 for any softlist entry fixed the 'piftall2a' cartridge ONLY. So, in essence, this isn't a regression and I am doubting the fitness of the parent set (pitfall2) as it doesn't work even after this offset changing.
