Summary MESS-specific 08348: gba [pacmancl, pacmanclu]: Game crashes after title screen
Description Press Start at the title screen and the game will hang before the main menu appears.

This doesn't happen in the Japanese version `pacmanclj` (although the background at the game select screen will glitch occasionally).
Steps To Reproduce Just press Start at the title screen.
Additional Information Research points to August 15, 2016 as the regression day.

Just be sure that when you flag "verified with original" you actually have the cart or image playing on original hardware.
Most bugs are obvious bugs but the flag is only when there is a debate of whether or not a bug actually happens on original hardware or not.

Current behavior starts showing up in 0.177. Prior did work, albeit with extreme emulation slow down while display still showed 100%, which isn't right either.
Further testing should reveal if this ever worked 100% correctly.

The original regression of function seems to date back to MESS 0.144u6. Fortunately, there is only about a week worth of source changes to critique and there is is some ARM7 action among them which is likely the cause. (January 8, 2012 - January 15, 2012)

Just noticed that this bug doesn't seem to happen in the Japanese version, for some reason. Description updated.
