|Summary||08383: djboy and others clones: Disc Jockey voice volume change between high and low and cut off and continue screen voice cut off in usa and world versions|
Thanks for read my bug report.
Since when DJ Boy was emulated in 0.116 happen issues in disc jockey voice.
Disc jockey in usa and world versions are done by an american dj and in japanese version is done by an japanese musician.
The sound volume not is exacly in same level all time.
Voice volume is changed several times between low and high volume and others times the voice is cut off.
In continue screen in japanese version is done voices, but in usa and world versions when the dj will speak the voice is cut off.
Since starting the game in first screen and in gameplay happen that issue.
About the continue screen voice cut off in usa and world version need an arcade video capture because the character in continue screen is the japanese musician.
I only had played one time that arcade not being the japanese version thus I not has any information about it.
Have an nice night.

There could just be volume levels of different chips that need balancing.
Someone using this original PCB capture might be able to best tune their audio experience with the sliders.

Watching the video the voices has correct volume level and not are cut off.
Really is an emulation bug in voice volume.
Another detail the original PCB capture is an PCB not dumped. That version not has in MAME.

Tafoid does good deed.
Perhaps I not had expressed correctly sounding as if was about wrong volume value.
