Summary | 08394: apple3: Unreliable display of loaded character sets | ||||
Description |
When a program loads a new or partial character set into the apple 3 some font corruption can be seen at times. Almost all of the time, when you run the System Utilities with the following command you see the corruption. There should be some horizontal lines on the screen for formatting and they appear as garbage characters. Also to the left of the cursor is some garbage character instead of a [ char. mame apple3 -flop1 E:\a3test\Apple3SOS1.3SysUtils.dsk ------------------------------------------------------------------ The problem can also be demonstrated with Business Basic using the following command. After Business Basic finishes loading, type "run fontdemo" It will cycle through loading the 4 font files on the disk and if you observe it for a while you will see occasional messed up characters. mame apple3 -flop1 E:\a3test\Apple3BusBasic1.1.dsk |
