| Description |
When playing the game if you aim too high on the screen your crosshair will jump down to the very bottom of the screen and stay there until you go back down. Going into the tests in service mode show that the maximum ranges should be from 00 to FF, but pushing UP makes it roll over: Pushing left goes down from 80 to 00 and stops. Right goes up to FF and stops. Up goes up from 80 to FF and then rolls back to 00 and stops. Down goes down to 01 and stops, can't reach 00 here. Looking at the analogs settings in the UI, all of the inputs bars fill all the way up like normal when pressing them. I don't see any off center or suddenly emptying after maxxing out. |

1. Run alien3 2. Start a normal game and at some point aim all the way up the screen. 3. Go to service mode and test the inputs and even try to recalibrate and play again. Same results. |

Attached a mp4 of the issue. Note to self: This site doesn't support webp or slightly big gifs. The manual says (under 8-4 GUN ADJUSTMENT): In this mode, carefully move the left-hand side and right-hand side guns within the mobile range.https://www.arcade-museum.com/manuals-videogames/A/Alien%203%20The%20Gun%20Manual.pdf Related? When in the gun adjustment menu, if you press down first you'll see that it will stop at 01 for the bottom value shown, but if you press back all the way up, the top value will stay at FF and the bottom now says 00. I'm off to bed now. |
